The new, visual social network, Pinterest, is really catching on.  That’s a good thing for people who love art and fashion, design, and architecture — but that’s now all Pinterest has to offer.  First, the basics:  you sign up for an account at www.pinterest.com, and start “pinning” things to boards you categorize for yourself....

Art is always all around you.  There is no where that you can go and you will not find art or inspiration for art.  One of my favorite things to do when I was younger would be to go to the downtown area of the town I grew up in and check out all of the art and inspiration.  The windows of the shops were always filled with some of the most incredible displays....

As a kid it seems like adults were always asking me what I wanted to be when I grew up.  My answer never seemed to satisfy anyone though.  Instead of answering with an astronaut, the president, teacher, or something else that was equally interesting and important.  I would tell people I wanted to draw pictures when I grew up.  I loved drawing and coloring....
